Setting up your apps using Pugpig Connect

For customers who aren’t yet familiar with Pugpig we have put together a package to ensure the setup required for Pugpig Connect runs as smoothly as possible. This package is required for all first-time Pugpig Connect customers.

Pugpig Connect Setup Pack

1. To kick off we will arrange an initial meeting to discuss the best approach to setting up your apps. If you are a partner we can also join you at a workshop with your customer to discuss their app requirements and the best option for setup.
2. For customers using Wordpress or Drupal we will validate your CMS installation to ensure everything is setup correctly.
3. For customers using other CMSs we will meet with you to validate your CMS setup and ensure the content strategy and workflow is fit for purpose.
4. Once your CMS is set up we will provide you with a set of HTML layouts that can be integrated into your CMS to start testing content or used as a start point to develop custom layouts that can be integrated into your CMS later.
5. We will also discuss the best approach for any third party custom integrations (including authentication/subscription integration).
6. Next up we will work with you to ensure the configuration in the CMS is correct.
7. We will then add you to the Pugpig distribution service and start your Pugpig license.
8. To finish up we will set up the Pugpig distribution widget in your CMS and ensure content sync is set up to enable the distribution service to pull content from your CMS into the apps. For continuous publishing we will also make sure content scheduling is in place (this determines how often the distribution service polls the server looking for new content).
9. Your Pugpig Connect support package will be available until your app is ready to submit during which time you will have priority ticket support. Any additional help required or development needed, as well as post launch support can be purchased under our standard support agreement.
