What is Marfeel

Marfeel is a content analytics and optimization platform for publishers, providing real-time and historical insights across traffic, engagement, monetization, and subscriptions in one place. It focuses on turning complex behavioral data into actionable guidance for editorial, product, and commercial teams. It supports multi-channel analysis across web, apps, and distribution surfaces to inform decisions that grow audience and revenue.

What the SDKs do

iOS and Android SDKs enable accurate in-app content analytics such as page views, reading time, and scroll engagement, tailored for publisher use cases. They also support identifying key audience states like anonymous, registered, and subscribed when available.

It's important to note that Marfeel does not provide rich event tracking like some other analytics platforms. Tracking is largely limited to pageviews and how that content performs. The SDKs enable attribution and recirculation insights to understand how readers arrive at content and where they go next, meaning they are likely to complement your existing analytics tools, such as GA4 or Mixpanel, rather than replacing them.

Bolt does not currently support Marfeel's multimedia tracking, though screenviews of those pages will be tracked like any other content page.

How it fits into Bolt

Marfeel is a productised 3rd-party provider, meaning it works out of the box and doesn't require additional development cost to integrate. You will still need to set up and manage your own commercial relationship with Marfeel directly, and simply provide us with the necessary configuration keys.

Once enabled, content views within Bolt-powered apps are tracked consistently, including article pages and key app screens, aligning with Bolt’s broader analytics architecture and governance.

What else you need to know

Privacy and consent 

Marfeel is TCF-compliant and works with supported CMPs in Bolt. You will need to determine which TCF purpose/s apply to Marfeel according to your own compliance frameworks and set these up in your consent provider.

Configuration

We require the Marfeel account identifier to send data to your dashboard/s. As with all SDKs, it requires an app update to add (or remove) it.

Support and troubleshooting 

Customers can expect standard implementation support and ongoing assistance similar to other analytics provider integrations supported within Bolt. For platform-specific reporting questions, Marfeel provides product support and customer success resources.
