Overview

Pugpig Bolt supports interstitial Google adverts displayed between HTML articles within an edition. These ads are served via Google Ad Manager (GAM) using Google Publisher Tags (GPT).

Interstitials appear as full-screen adverts and are shown between swipes in the edition reading flow.

Note: Interstitial ads do not currently appear on the Ad Showcase preview page.

Placement & Settings

Interstitial adverts are displayed between edition PDF pages.

The first ad position and display frequency are configured in Pugpig Advertising Settings within Express.

Dimensions

Web

• Uses a default fixed size.
• Can support a set of different sizes if required.

App

• Supports size mapping e.g if the screen is larger than X, serve size Y.

Requirements

To enable interstitial ads, you must have:

• A valid Google Ad Manager ad unit configured for interstitial delivery.
• The relevant configurations set in Express site settings.
