What is Newspack?
Newspack is one of Pugpig's partners; it's an open-source publishing platform built on WordPress for small to medium news publishers. Pugpig can easily integrate with Newspack sites to transform them into standardised Bolt apps with minimal effort.
How does Pugpig Bolt integrate with Newspack?
Pugpig Bolt comes integrated with everything you need to get up and running, including Newspack's standard third party providers:
- Content feeds - RSS feeds taken from the site - we've worked with Newspack to ensure all of the standard elements will be already included e.g honouring the Primary category set on articles, sponsor information and more.
- WooCommerce authentication - secure OAuth sign in flow
- Analytics - Firebase, GA, Parse.ly
- Push notifications - Firebase, OneSignal, Airship
- Advertising - Google Ad Manager, Broadstreet Ads
Please see our full list of productised SDK integrations here.
